I-131 capsule dispensing system, designed to fill high activity I-131 solution into several capsules.

Product Description

This robotic I-131 capsule dispensing system is specifically designed to fill high-activity I-131 solutions into multiple capsules. The system comprises two main components: a shielded hot cell and a robotic dispenser.

Shielded Hot Cell for robotic I-131 capsule dispenser

Model: CDHC-50

  • The working chamber is constructed of SUS 316 stainless steel with rounded corners to minimize dust accumulation, while the external surfaces are made of SUS 304 stainless steel.
  • The working chamber is surrounded by 50 mm lead shielding on all sides.
  • The front door features a 150 x 150 mm lead glass viewing window and a secure locking handgrip.
  • Two 50 mm lead shielding doors are located on each side to facilitate the movement of products and shielded mother vials in and out of the chamber.
  • A lead-shielded dose calibrator is incorporated beneath the working chamber.
  • The system utilizes a unidirectional airflow with a HEPA filter for inlet air, ensuring compliance with Grade C air cleanliness standards. The outlet air is filtered through an activated charcoal filter.
  • The smart touch control panel consolidates all operational functions and provides real-time monitoring information.

Dimensions and Specs

  • External size: W 900 x D 900 x H 2050
  • Weight approx.: 3900 kg

Capsule Robotic Dispenser

Model: CRD-I131

  • A programmable robotic arm serves as the central component of the system, responsible for clamping and transporting the capsule to the filling station, lifting the dose calibrator, and loading the shielded tungsten vial, all in a single step.
  • The system can continuously fill 6 capsules and load them into individual tungsten vials.
  • The filling volume ranges from 50 to 200 microliters with a ± 5% variance.
  • The entire process, including mechanical operation, liquid filling, and dose measurement, takes 60 seconds: mechanical operation (60 seconds), liquid filling (10 seconds), and dose measurement (10 seconds).
  • Each drug profile can be printed out and stored in the database for management purposes.
  • The system features GMP compliance and software validation functionalities.
